The 14th Sports Day was celebrated with great exuberance on 25 July, 2014. Walter I. Davaram. I.P.S. the Former Director General of police, Tamil Nadu and the President, Tamil Nadu Athletic Association was the Chief Guest. The elegant Brass Band group invited the dignitary who was escorted by the Managing Trustee and Correspondent, Dr. Manimekalai Mohan and the Trustee and Secretary, Mr. S. Mohan Doss. Mrs. A. Suguna Devi, Senior Principal welcomed the gathering. The chief Guest accepted the guard of honour from the saluting dais.
Our National Flag, Sports Flag and School Flag were unfurled by the Chief Guest and the other dignitaries. The Managing Trustee and Trustee felicitated the Chief Guest
Mr. S. Baskaran, HOD, the Department of Physical Education presented the Sports Report. The Chief Guest then declared the Sports Meet Open. The heats of Inter House Annual Athletics were conducted. PERMIAN House bagged the Overall championship trophy. The Chief Guest distributed medals and certificates to the winners.
Children performed Fan Drill, Robot Drill, Wands, Drill and Concept dance. The Chief Guest appreciated the children for their excellent performances especially their leadership qualities and team work.
Mrs. I. Shantha Kumari , Senior Secondary Principal proposed a vote of thanks. The curtain came down with the National Anthem.
